My philosophy of education is that all children no matter race, religion, or gender are taught in a safe, positive, and community like environment. We should embrace diversity and learn from the new cultures, languages, and customs that are now incorporated in our schools. Teaching is not a one size fits all model, every student has different needs and some require more help then others. Thanks to evolving trends and different forms of teaching, education can be set to fit any child's particular needs. With technology we can now bring lessons to smart boards, computers, and even TVs to help those who are more visual learners. Group work is also beneficial for those students who need a little extra help. If you have students who have grasped the material you can partner them with someone who needs a little more help. With para educators, after school programs, and teachers aids there is more support for students to get extra help. Teachers no longer have to stand up in front of their classroom and lecture their students, you are able to make learning fun and interactive. By giving class incentives your class will be even more eager to learn. At the end of each class you can give your student exit cards and see which pieces of material you need to go over again and which students could use little more help. Not only do students need to know that their teacher cares but they need to know their parents care. With parent involvement and participation in the classroom students will know they have endless resources.
